Hello, who knew working at a toy store during Christmas time would be like hell on earth. Just kidding, it isn't actually that bad but I am tired after every shift now. I gave my coworker her secret santa gift and dare I say, I did amazing. It was this quilted tote bag with her cats emroidered on it and it turned out better than I was expecting. I also passed my french class with a 'B' which thank god cause I was slacking in this class big time. Good luck to me next semester when I have to take french II. I started writing in my new journal since I filled out my last one and it's looking sooo cute already. I can't wait to get my journal page up and running after this god dang games page gets done.

Sooo, I almost forgot to do my item of the month, but I remembered just in time. I know I said I was going to do multiple items but after some further thinking, the other items I wanted to add didn't fit anymore. Also update on the movie Eternity, I was pleasantly suprised by how much I liked the movie that I gave it 5 stars on Letterboxd. And I was correct on being team Miles Teller, he was the better choice so congrats to past me. Overall, the movie had great dialogue, all the actors did very well, I enjoyed the set design, and it just felt like a really well produced movie. Thank god for A24.

Hello again, black friday wasn't all that bad. It was still crowded as fuck and apparently it took my assistant manager 1 hour to find parking, but the actual shift was alright. It helped that my coworkers and leadership team were so capable and have a system down pat, so that helped a ton with dealing with everyone, and the whole team got free lunch so yay. I will say, the B.O. was kinda crazy in the store because it was packed and everyone had cold weather clothes on so that meant layers and sweat. It also took me like 30 mins to even get out of the mall parking lot, and there were a ton of cars looking for parking. I almost decided to be petty and sit in my car because this one car kept following me, but I decided to let it go (i'm trying to turn a new leaf). Also watched Rental Family with Brendan Fraser and it was pretty good. It definitely helped that he was in the movie because I love that man, he can do no wrong (unless he has, in which y'all should warn me). Will be seeing Eternity tomorrow in theaters and from the trailers, I am currently team Miles Teller (not him specifically, but his character and what he stands for), we will see if that changes after I watch the movie. Alright bye.

Happy thanksgiving, tomorrow is black friday and it will be my first time working retail for real so I am kinda nervous but also interested to see how that is going to go. I am also so excited for December because hopefully that means colder weather, christmas music, and christmas sweaters. Once the semester ends, I am going to work hardcore on this website cause there is still so much to do, so look forward to that. I also think this months item will feature multiple things because I found some new favorites so that will be fun.

For the past couple of years, I've been doing a one second a day video to wrap up each year. This year, I started something different and instead of being confined to one second of every day, I just filmed whatever. However, that means I have a shit ton of video footage from 2025, and as we get closer to 2026, I am now stressing over how to edit the video. So many decisions like song choice, video length, and do I edit out a certain someone who I don't associate with anymore? I guess this will be a problem for future me.

Yesterday, I bought my favorite bag of chips (Doritos Flamin' Hot Limon) from the gas station next to my house. Brought it with me to work so I could eat it on my break. My 15 min break comes around and I open the bag of chips and its STALE?? Like wtf, completely unopened, with air inside, and its not expired. Usually I am okay with eating stale chips, but these were like chewy..could not stomach them. Literally ruined my day, was looking forward to it all shift.

Hey..so I lied, I was not back soon, a whole whopping 17-ish days have passed. I'm still working on the item of the month suprisingly or unsuprisingly. It turns out I have given myself homework because why is it turning into like a 4 page essay. I will be getting that out as soon as I can. A lot of things have passed: I got my first tattoo on the 30th, had an interesting Halloween, celebrated a friends birthday, and most recently I just went to an author reading which was pretty fun. It was for the book "Everything I Learned, I Learned in a Chinese Restaurant" by Curtis Chin and it was delightful, afterwards a friend and I bought the book and got it signed. Funnily enough, he spelled my name wrong in the book when he signed it but I guess that is just how the cookie crumbles. Now that Halloween crunch time is over, I will be able to do more work on my website and hopefully that gosh darn fav game page will be done soon. I doubt it though.

It has been a while since I posted a thought, been very busy. I've really just been working on my pirate costume nonstop and also the favorite game page is taking me way longer than I thought. I have only gotten to the nintendo ds console and I still haven't finished all the games for that. My baltric is finally getting delivered tomorrow and I am so excited to see it. Still debating on what to hang from it since I don't have a sword or a gun...maybe a map? I also ate some really bomb sushi the other weekend, like so good (thank you sister), could not tell you what fish I ate or what each piece was called. The head sushi chef(?) was also sooo cooool, like omg, her vibes were off the charts.

The pirate shirt and vest I am making is starting to look like I took part in the revolutionary war. Call me a hamilton back up dancer. I think once I weather it more and add all the pirate accessories, it will look more pirate-y. I am also debating on getting an eyepatch, still not decided. Truly this costume has taken over my mind, I am having a lot of fun making it and I can't wait to wear the completed outfit.

Started work on my pirate shirt. Traced all my shirt pattern pieces and cut out the front and back from my chiffon fabric. I will say, the fabric is reeeally sheer so don't know about that. Also I realize I do not have the patience to sew properly, measuring is an afterthought.

My online textbook for french class has these videos that we have to watch. It's basically about these 4 university students and their lives, obviously it's all in french and we have to answer questions about it, but like why did they give two of these characters a romance storyline, like friends to lovers, and why am I lowkey very invested.

Currently rewatching IGNs youtube videos and their series on game developers reacting to speedrunners is so fun to watch. My favorite ones have to be the Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled speedrun, Crash Bandicoot speedruns, and the Cuphead speedrun. Its really interesting to hear how passionate the developers are about the games, though I will say some of the videos are hard to watch cause the developers sometimes get lowkey pissed with some of the speedruns but overall most of them are just having a good time.

I've been trying to figure out how to add a poll to my website and it's really busting my brain. I found a way to somewhat do it in html/css/javascript but I don't think it will keep the data entered and it seems like my only other option is to link to another website that does polls but neocities doesn't allow that unless I pay the subscription, which valid. So idk, the thot daugther vs gay son debate may have to wait. Also started work on my favorite games page, slow going but it's going.

Omg, so a little backstory, I've been lowkey getting into DnD (Dungeons & Dragons) and I've watched some content from Critical Role which is like this DnD group online (they are very popular from what I know with my limited knowledge). It's got like a core group of 8 people and I recently found out one of the members, Ashley Johnson, was an extra in the first Avengers movie (the waitress who gets saved by Captain America, she kills the role) and so I'm showing my friend (you know who you are) and she's shocked because she knows Ashley Johnson from another tv show she watched called Blindspot and so that was a crazy crossover. But then I just found out that one of the dudes in the group, Travis Willingham, was a english dub voice actor for so many animes that I love like Fullmetal Alchemist (that anime and manga is fucking peak, he was Roy Mustang??) and Ouran High School Host Club (granted the character he played, Mori, was very much a silent cool type). So I go on a deep dive into all these people in Critical Role and they have all done some very cool voice acting for animes, shows, and games (One Piece, Fruits Basket, Bleach, One-Punch Man, Naruto, Sailor Moon, Persona 4/5, Resident Evil 6, Overwatch, The Last of Us, etc.). This probably means like nothing to y'all, but this just blew my mind.

Rearranged my room and I feel so much better. Used a drill to get rid of some shelving, #handyman. The one thing I am not loving though is now my back is facing the door when I sit at my desk. Whatever, hopefully this gives me more space to set up my sewing machine and 3d printer.
(Update) Also cancelled my hulu subscription, should have done that a long time ago.

Pirate costume is slowly coming together. Just finished painting my clay barnacle pieces for my black tricorn hat and it didn't turn out too bad, however, I wish I made more of the smaller ones. I also attached handles to the treasure chest I thrifted with screws, felt like such a handyman. Once I figure out how to use a drill and bandsaw I will be literally unstoppable. I've also started to collect 'piratey' jewlery and accesorries anytime I go thrifting, so thats been fun. My biggest obstacle right now is the baldric and kidney belt/corset. I'm tempted to learn leatherwork to make it myself but I am lowkey really intimidated. My pirate costume is probably gonna be the Item of the Month for either September or October so you'll get to see pictures then. Really hoping the outfit turns out how I am envisioning it.

Watched Hamilton on the big screen and it was awesome. Hamilton is such a good musical and everyone in the cast is soooo talented. Leslie Odom Jr., Christopher Jackson, Renee Elise Goldsberry (it won't let me put the accent in her name wtf), Phillipa Soo, and Jasmine Cephas Jones have got to be some of my favorite performers. People who aren't into musicals need to get on this shit, it has got to be one of my favorite ways of storytelling.

Had a great day with friends; we made clay charms and they turned out pretty good. Some turned into keychains but most turned into magnets. Lowkey I put some of the magnets on the wrong way but that's okay. Then we watched "Now You See Me", a banger of a film, so good 10/10.

I just rediscovered my love for Toast Chee (this isn't spelled wrong, that is just the brand name) Peanut Butter sandwich crackers. Makes my mouth dry as fuck but delicious nonetheless. Also I am having a lot of fun working on this website.
